Understanding Ranks
& Rank Advancement

Your journey with Novae involves two distinct types of Rank; Paid-As Rank and Career Rank.

Your Paid-as Rank is based on meeting the monthly qualification and determines your Monthly Residual Commission and other rank-based bonuses.

Your Career Rank is the highest Rank you have achieved as an Affiliate and is used for recognition on your website and corporate events, as well as for contests and awards.

From Affiliate to Presidential Ambassador, each rank achievement represents measurable growth in your business. Using our Key Business Metrics, you’ll have clear targets for advancement:
Personal Achievement

Starting with consistent Personal Volume and Customer Points, you demonstrate your ability to serve Customers effectively. These foundations of success begin at accessible levels and grow steadily as you advance.

Team Development

As you progress, you’ll build a strong organization through Personally Enrolled Active Affiliates and Qualified Legs. Each rank requires specific combinations of these metrics, ensuring your business develops with a solid structure.

Organizational Growth

As you advance in Rank, Group Volume requirements increase. Beginning at Senior Consultant, the Leg Max requirement ensures you build multiple strong teams rather than relying on just one or two, creating stability and sustainable growth. (See definition below)

Your Rank is calculated based on business activity from the 1st through the last day of each month (12:00am PT to 11:59pm PT).

Sales Directors and above who meet all Rank requirements except Group Volume, falling short by less than 15%, may receive a one-month grace period.

Monthly Residual Commission

As you achieve each Rank, you earn the corresponding Monthly Residual Commission shown in the table above. This commission ranges from $50 at Senior Affiliate to $110,000 at Presidential Ambassador and is paid on the 15th of the month following your Rank qualification. You must maintain all rank qualifications to receive the commission. During grace period months, you receive your previous rank’s commission while rebuilding Group Volume.

Key Business Metrics

  • Active Status

    You maintain an Active Status by having a paid membership or qualifying for the Five & Free Program each month as well as keeping an active payment card on file for your autopay purchases. Maintaining Active Status is required for earning commissions.

  • Sponsor

    The Affiliate who introduces a new Affiliate to Novae and helps them get started in the business. As a sponsor, you have the ability to strategically place your new Affiliates and Customers within your organization.

  • Personally Enrolled Active Affiliates

    Personally Enrolled Active Affiliates are those that you have personally sponsored into the business who maintain their Active Status. The number of active Affiliates you personally enroll is one of the key metrics for rank advancement.

  • Customer Points

    Each product sold is worth 1 Customer Point. These Customer Points are essential for rank advancement. As you progress in your Novae career, maintaining strong Customer relationships becomes increasingly important, with rank requirements ranging from 1 point at Senior Affiliate to 40 points at Presidential Ambassador.

  • Personal Volume

    Personal Volume is the total volume generated from your sales of Novae products and services, used to determine your monthly Rank qualification. Each of our products and services has a specific volume value assigned to it. Personal Volume is essential for rank advancement and maintenance.

  • Group Volume (GV)

    Group Volume (GV) is the combined volume from your entire organization, including your Personal Volume plus all volume generated by your team members and their teams, infinitely deep in your organization.

  • Qualified Legs

    A Qualified Leg is a Leg of your organization that meets or exceeds the GV requirement for that Rank. The Qualified Leg requirement for the Senior Affiliate Ranks is 40GV, and 160GV for all other Ranks.

  • Leg Max Rule

    To ensure a balanced and sustainable business, the Leg Max Rule limits the amount of required GV that can come from a single leg of business.

    Starting at Senior Consultant, a maximum of 50% of your required GV can come from any one leg. As you reach higher ranks, this cap adjusts to 35%.

    For example, to qualify as a Senior Consultant, you need 2,500 GV, but no more than 1,250 GV (50%) can come from a single leg. Any additional volume from that leg will not count toward rank advancement.
